Theme Overview:

MyThemeShop offers this multipurpose theme for no cost.  Use it as a blog or magazine style theme.  It has all of the usual benefits that come with one of their free themes such as a responsive layout, speed and SEO optimization, as well as some great options for optimizing a free theme, including the option for breadcrumb navigation.

Customization Options:

General Settings:

The general settings in the DualShock options panel will get you started with your DualShock personalization.  Here you can add your sites copyright information as well as add code to the header and footer of the page.  Enable or Disable pagination and set a logo and favicon image.

Styling Options:

As with other themes from MyThemeShop you can select from an infinite number of color choices using a user friendly color wheel selector.  The background color is selected in the same way and custom background images are supported.  Change the layout and set your own CSS customizations.

Single Posts:

The DualShock theme from mythemeshop.com has built in breadcrumb navigation support.  When enabled, it gives your site visitors a sense of where they are and an extra way to navigate the site.  Post meta, related posts, tag links and the author box can all be turned on or off from this area of the options panel.

 

Navigation:

The theme has one primary navigation area that is controlled from the menu area of the admin panel.

Import / Export:

Importing and exporting your theme settings is a great way to backup your settings or migrate them to a different site.

Widgets:
