Overview:

The GreenChilli theme by MyThemeShop is a sleek blog style theme for the WordPress platform.  The posts page features large images that create a vivid experience.  As with other themes from MyThemeShop, this one has many great features along with versatile, yet simple, customization options.

Customization Options:

The options panel for the GreenChilli theme is located on the administrator menu just below and separate from the ‘Appearance’ menu item.  As with other MyThemeShop themes, it offers many customizations for tweaking and personalizing your theme.

General Settings:

The general settings allows you to set a logo and favicon image.  There is an area to add custom header and footer code for analytics and such as well as a place to put custom copyright text.  Pagination options exist here as well.

Styling Options:

The styling options allow you to set the overall color scheme for the site as well as background color and image.  The sidebar layout is selected from this menu and custom css can be added here as well.

Single Posts:

Configure the functionality and appearance of single post pages by showing or hiding post meta info, related posts, tag links and the author box.

Ad Management:

Ad management can be handled right from the theme without the need for additional plugins.  Simply paste your ad code in this menu section and your ads will appear below the post title and / or below the post content.

Navigation:

Navigation is easily modified from the menu section of the admin panel.

Import / Export:

Don’t lose the hard work that you put into setting up your theme.  Export your option settings and easily import them later if necessary.

Widgets:

Additional advertisements are easily implemented with the included ad widgets.  Social profile icons and latest tweets are also available as are a few others.
