Theme Overview:

The PlayBook theme available at mythemeshop.com offers a dual column layout for displaying posts on the blog page.   It has all of the great features that come with themes from MyThemeShop such as a responsive layout design and an easy to use customization panel.

Customization Options:

Access the customization panel from the administrator panel from the PlayBook menu item.  This panel isn’t located under the Appearance menu as are most.  Make cool website designs by customizing and tweaking in this area

General Settings:

The general settings allow you to add footer or header code, add copyright information and turn on custom pagination.  You can also set your favicon and logo image.

Styling Options:

Of course, the styling options allow you to customize the color scheme, background color and background image.  You can also change the sidebar layout and add custom css.

Single Posts:

Turn on or off the post meta information, show or hide related posts below post content area, show a tag cloud below related posts and decide if you want to display the author information below the article.

Navigation:

The theme has one main navigation area that can be set from the menu are of the admin panel.

Import / Export:

The theme allows you to export your styling settings for use at later date or on another site.

Widgets:

This theme includes the Tab Widget which allows you display popular posts as well as the latest posts in a tabbed format.  Ad management is available through these widgets as well.
